SOLD for £350,000! Doucai ‘Lotus and bats’ jar and cover, Qianlong period. 46.5cm high. Decorated with Doucai enamels embellished with gilt paint the sumptuous lotus flower head with scrolls and bats is a fine example of the extraordinary quality of its time. The Qianlong seal mark painted in blue is correct for the design.
