Fully Diamond Set Timepiece

Audemars Piguet is widely seen as an institution in the watch world. Representing technical prowess, style and innovation, the brand, formed in 1875 by Swiss craftsmen Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet in the village of Le Brassus. Since its inception, Audemars Piguet has pioneered many watchmaking innovations, including the world’s first minute-repeating movement for wristwatches in 1892. The first ‘jumping hour’ watch followed in 1921, and they also developed the first skeleton watch in 1934. Audemars Piguet has produced some of the thinnest watches in the world, notably the 1986 automatic tourbillon wristwatch.  

If watchmaking has an equivalent of Lennon and McCartney, it may be Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet. The Bucherer Magazine

Set to dazzle our bidders in our Fine Jewellery & Watch Auction taking place on 10th December is a rare 18ct gold fully diamond set Audemars Piguet watch. Consigned from a local vendor, this piece was initially purchased in America in the 1980s. Encompassing the true style and finesse of this watchmaker, this timepiece pays homage to the firm's achievements in creating the world's thinnest wristwatches.

A sleek, comfortable and elegant design, this 18ct gold timepiece is accented with bamboo detail bezel and bracelet links. With single-cut diamonds adorning the dial and brilliant cut diamonds set to the bracelet, the piece contains approximately 5.50 to 6 carats of diamonds. Producing an absolutely resplendant show of light and fire, this diamond timepiece is sure to capture the attention of watch enthusiasts and collectors worldwide.
