Burmantofts grotesque figural dish after a design by Christopher Dresser for Linthorpe copying a Fijian priest drinking vessel, decorated with an overall turquoise glaze set with red glass eyes impressed marks and 1802 to base, (chip to one arm) 20cm long, A Linthorpe example is also illustrated in Judy Rudoe, Decorative Arts 1850-1950: A Catalogue of the British Museum Collection (London, 1991), p45.
