We have a team of valuers who will be happy to offer sale
advice to prospective vendors. Should you wish to sell an object you will be issued
with a receipt, the object then stays in our care insured free of charge against
loss or damage. Fine Art sale Vendors will receive a free catalogue by post prior
to the auction. After the auction you will receive an advice letter listing results
and suggested new reserves for unsold lots if any. There is no charge if a lot fails
to sell. All sale proceeds will be paid out by cheque, all charges (listed below)
will be deducted from the cheque prior to it being posted to you. Cheques will arrive
a week after Gallery sales and Saturday Furniture sales and three weeks after Fine
Art Sales.
What it will cost you to sell an object:
Commission per lot:
17.5% + V.A.T. (20.56% inclusive) of the hammer price.
This commission charge drops down to 12% +V.A.T. (14.10% inclusive) for proceeds
realised over £1,000 (per lot)

Gallery sales: £5 + V.A.T. (£5.88 inclusive)
Fine Art Sales: £10 + V.A.T. (£11.75 inclusive)
Fine Art Sale Illustration Charges:
From £6 + V.A.T. for small items.
From £12 + V.A.T for paintings and furniture.
Transport:
Transport can be arranged for larger items or collections.
